Fans gaan los over Ronaldo én Ajax: ‘Bizar’

Juventus werd gisteren uit de Champions League geknikkerd door FC Porto en in de afgelopen seizoenen waren Olympique Lyon en Ajax te sterk voor De Oude Dame. Vooral Cristiano Ronaldo krijgt dat vandaag op zijn bordje op social media.

In de zomer van 2018 betaalden de Italianen ongeveer 100 miljoen euro aan Real Madrid voor de Portugese superster, die maar liefst 30 miljoen euro per jaar ging verdienen in Turijn. Juventus committeerde zich aan een mega-uitgave met maar één doel: de Champions League moest weer eens gewonnen worden. Maar die missie is vooralsnog dus pijnlijk mislukt…

Ronaldo’s CL failures with Juventus are proof that he’s nothing but a system player who got lucky with Real Madrid. He got eliminated against Ajax, Lyon and Porto with a giant club that made CL finals 2 times in 3 years prior to his arrival.

Since Ronaldo joined Juventus he has faced CL elimination at HOME to Ajax, Lyon and Porto. He was brought in to win Juve the CL. Simply not good enough.

If Juventus are eliminated by Porto, it will mean, since Cristiano Ronaldo has been at the club, they will have exited the Champions League against Ajax, Lyon and Porto. Not “easy” ties by any means, but certainly draws the club would have welcomed
