Everton ontslaat coach Sean Dyche op wedstrijddag: ‘Vreselijk!’

De blauwe ploeg uit Liverpool heeft wéér een trainer op straat gezet, 58-jarige Sean Dyche werd ontslagen op 9 januari – een paar uur voordat Everton speelt tegen Peterborough in de FA Cup. Dyche & co stond buiten de degradatiezone op plek zestien, maar de nieuwe eigenaren Friedkin Group vond dat het tijd was voor nieuwe leiding.

Gemixte gevoelens komen er los vanuit Engeland, veel van The Toffees vinden dat de Britse oefenmeester Everton gered heeft van de afgrond en dat hij meer respect hoort te krijgen. On a serious note, Sean Dyche I believe is the reason we are still in the Premier League. He had to be sacked though. He lost the dressing room, and lost the fans.
